Diagnostic Sleep Center
It is more than just a dream...
Sleep is not a “time out” from our busy lives; it is essential for quality of life. According to the National Sleep Foundation, most healthy adults need an average of eight (8) hours of sleep per night for their own safety, health, mental and emotional functioning. We are committed to helping people develop a healthier lifestyle through improved sleep habits.
At least 40 million adult Americans suffer from sleep disorders, however, it is estimated that nearly 85% of that group go undiagnosed or untreated. Nightly sleep patterns are interrupted for thousands of adults - some in our very own homes. With more than 84 different types of sleep disorders identified, the Diagnostic Sleep Center of La Porte Regional Health System specializes in the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of sleep disorders close to home in your neighborhood.
Disorders such as snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, periodic limb movement, restless leg syndrome, night terrors and sleepwalking, are common concerns of patients visiting the Diagnostic Sleep Center. The Center is designed to accommodate overnight and daytime sleep studies in a comfortable, private, home-like environment using the latest technologies.
For some people, a good night’s sleep is just a dream...
