CT Scan

The CT (Computed Tomography) scan takes pictures of any part of the body, like an x-ray, but with breakthrough speed and superior image. La Porte Regional Health System believes in offering our community the best technology available. This allows our physicians the necessary tools to diagnose diseases, like strokes and cancer, examine injuries, analyze the results of surgery and give three-dimensional views of tumors.

CT scans also provides our physicians detailed three-dimensional images of bones and soft tissues, such as organs, muscles, and blood vessels as well as detailed cross-sectional views of the patient’s area of concern.
