Ways to Give
There are many ways to contribute to the La Porte Hospital Foundation. Whether making a one-time donation or pledging long-term support, your gifts are important and greatly appreciated.
The La Porte Hospital Foundation offers a variety of donor programs.
To Honor and Remember
These gifts are a thoughtful way to remember the passing of a loved one or to celebrate special occasions.
To Honor: Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, graduation, Father’s and Mother’s Day, Boss’s day or any other significant event in your life or the lives of those you care about.
In Memory: In memory of someone who has passed away, either recently or in the past. As with all donations, memorial gifts may be unrestricted or designated to the area of your choice.
The Foundation office will send a notification card to the person(s) to whom you wish to honor, or to the family of the person whose memory you wish to remember. You will also receive a tax receipt, along with our thanks!

Serenity Place "Brick-By-Brick" Campaign
Adjoining La Porte Hospital’s Family Chapel and sharing the Chapel’s spirit of serenity is an outdoor garden. Within this outdoor garden area is Serenity Place, a courtyard built with 600 remembrance bricks. It is made of 600 bricks…and each one will tell a story.
With sponsorship of $100 you are entitled to have an inscription engraved in stone and become a permanent chapter in the life story of La Porte Hospital. The campaign supports the Endowment Fund and other selections.
Our Clarian Health Partners gifted a lovely Mother and Child sculpture, created by the renowned Herman Gurfinkel, to become the centerpiece of Serenity Place.

Planned Giving
The future of the La Porte community’s health care is in our sights today with the Cornerstone Society and planned giving options. A planned gift of stocks and securities, or real and personal property, or of trust proceeds offers invaluable, and enduring, living symbol of your commitment.
The Cornerstone Society recognizes those who have included the La Porte Hospital Foundation in their wills or through other deferred gifts of estate planning. Donors are acknowledged on the Cornerstone Society recognition display located in the main lobby of La Porte Hospital.
